NEXT one-touch enrollment

NEXT fingerprint sensors provide enough area to allow fast, intuitive, one-touch enrollments.
This ensures high quality enrollments and allows the enrollment process to be organized in mass market applicable and cost acceptable ways.

More than 3 million NEXT sensors have been shipped to a range of customers including Tier 1 Notebook OEMs. These sensors are used in a diverse range of operating environments.

Given that the NEXT sensors are mass produced using standard processes in high-end display fabs, mass production can relatively easily be scaled to meet virtually any demand.

Uncompromised security & convenience
The ability to manufacture large area sensors at low cost, enables distribution of sensor systems that meet quality critical application requirements of both security and convenience.

Open standards support
NEXT sensor systems are based on established standards for template creation, feature extraction, and matching, such as ISO 19794-2 or ANSI 378. This allows interoperability with existing systems and fingerprint databases. Such interoperability is typically a mandatory requirement in government and payment industry applications.

Testing & documentation
NEXT sensors are subjected to 3rd party testing, upon which test results are gathered, documented, and published.

In addition, Tier 1 notebook suppliers run NEXT sensors through all levels of tests including biometric performance, physical robustness, and logistical capabilities.

ISO compliance
ISO compliance is typically a mandatory requirement in government and payment industry applications. NEXT sensors are compliant with all applicable ISO standards, including those critical for smart cards such as physical flexibility and sensor size.
