NEXT’s ability to create sensors covering a large area allow the company to deliver accurate results in real life conditions. Physical flexibility
NEXT sensors are produced with materials only a few micrometers thick. The material can be applied on rigid (glass) or flexible (PET) substrates, thus creating both rigid and flexible sensors.

Leveraging the production processes in existing, high quality, high yield display fabs, NEXT manufactures high performance sensors at significantly lower costs than all other comparable sensor suppliers. NEXT one-touch enrollment

NEXT fingerprint sensors allow fast, intuitive,
one-touch enrollment.
This ensures high quality capture of fingerprint data and allows the enrollment process to be simple, broadly used and lower cost than competing solutions.

More than 5 million NEXT sensors have been shipped to a range of customers including Tier One Notebook OEMs. These sensors are used in a diverse range of operating environments.

Given that NEXT sensors are mass produced using standard processes in high-end display fabs, mass production can be easily scaled to meet virtually any level of demand.

The ability to manufacture large area sensors at low cost enables distribution of sensor systems that meet quality critical application requirements for both security and convenience.

Open standards support
NEXT sensor systems are based on established standards for template creation, feature extraction, and matching. These standards include ISO 19794-2 and ANSI 378 and allow NEXT sensors to work with existing systems and fingerprint databases. Such interoperability is typically a mandatory requirement in government and payment industry applications.

Testing and documentation
Testing and documentation provide NEXT customers with yet another level of confidence in the company’s sensor technology. NEXT sensors are subjected to rigorous third-party testing, which allows test results to be gathered, documented, and published for customer assessment.
