Norwegian biometrics company NEXT Biometrics (NEXT) has received 6 MNOK purchase order for NEXT FAP20 sensors targeted for the market in India. Delivery will be in Q1 2024.
The purchase order is from a new distributor focusing on the market in Asia. The sensor deliveries will be in Q1 2024. NEXT continues to evolve its distributor footprint in Asia and is proud to announce this new distributor agreement and purchase order. The NEXT products are targeted to be delivered to NEXT OEM partners in India, a total of three Indian OEM have applied for prestigious Aadhaar L1 certification using NEXT’s sensor. Hence, this order is a continuation of the commitments in the India OEM contracts that were previously announced in 2023 and 2024.
