Next Biometrics Access 100 Sensor

Next Biometrics Access 100 Sensor features a large 12×17 mm active sensing area for fast, convenient fingerprint enrollment and authentication at low biometric error rates.

Our Access 100 Sensor is a high quality, bezel-less fingerprint area sensor module designed for integration into custom application products such as notebooks, tablets, USB peripherals, point of sales and access control terminals and products such as door locks and safes. It relies on the Next Biometrics sensor mounted on a small printed circuit board for seamless hardware integration. The module connects to a USB hub, embedded USB host or via a SPI interface using a flex cable.

Access 100 Sensor also offers an ergonomic USB fingerprint reader designed for desktop use. It relies on the market-proven Access 100 Fingerprint Sensor, the same technology that has been integrated into millions of electronic devices.

Our Access 100 Sensor offers a version that is intended exclusively for the Aadhaar market in India. The sensor and the reader has been STQC certified in combination with the latest MINEX III certified.

The fingerprint sensor module family works with the patented NEXT Active ThermalT™ principle. The sensor technology is tolerant against dirt, grease and varying environmental conditions. The large active area of the sensor allows stable imaging, intuitive user operation and is ideally suited for mass market applications in need of both security and convenience.

Due to its thin form factor, the module offers seamless hardware integration and is ideally suited for a broad range of applications.

Next Biometrics Access 110 SPI Product Specification

Our Access 110 SPI product has been specifically designed for integration into applications such as time and attendance terminals, outdoor access control readers, door locks and mobile devices. Due to its thin form factor, the module offers seamless hardware integration and is ideally suited for a broad range of applications.

Equipped with a Very High Bond (VHB) double sided tape on its top surface, Access 110 SPI also provides the necessary water-tight seal to enable IP rating in end products. The product is connected to the host system via a SPI interface using a flex cable.
