NEXT Biometrics – VP Sales Americas

NEXT provides unique Active Thermal high-security fingerprint sensors for smart and secure authentication. The company is in an accelerating growth phase adding customers who implements our unique fingerprint sensors into their products. With current positive traction, we are looking to expand in the Americas. We would like to hire a seasoned and skilled VP Sales Americas with responsibility over Latin America, US and Canada.

During the last two years NEXT has started to bring customers within four main market segments globally. NEXT is establishing a leading position in market segment Fintech and Payments. We have our largest accounts within segment Office and Notebooks. Within Access control as well as Public Security Next is starting to add more and more customers. NEXT’s ongoing sales efforts are expected to bring additional design wins, revenues and volumes from new digital devices in our evolving digital society. NEXT (public) has offices and subsidiaries in Norway (HQ), Taiwan, China, India, and USA.

Vice President of Sales, Americas

NEXT Biometrics is looking for a skilled Vice President Sales, Americas. You will have the responsibility bringing revenues and new customers in the Americas including Latin America, USA and Canada. You will be responsible for generating design wins, revenues and reaching agreed quotas according to budget. You will be part of a small, agile and global team covering NEXT’s sales functions. The role reports to the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Other key persons the employee interacts with include technical sales support and Operations.

Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain and develop existing customers and bring new customers to NEXT
  • Actively manage customer/distributor relationships and order flows
  • Deliver against important company KPIs and agreed quotas/budgets for Americas
  • Explore and develop new use cases for ur main FAP20 fingerprint sensors
  • Interact and cooperate with colleagues in China, India, and EMEA
  • Manage existing distributors and establish new ones in key market segments
  • Interact with NEXT technical sales support and Operations colleagues
  • Managing a potentially growing sales team and external partners in Americas


What you bring, including but not limited to:

  • 10+ years of related sales leadership experience
  • A proven sales record from previous positions, preferably within technical sales
  • History of budget responsibility, solid funnel management and new lead generation
  • A strong drive and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and within the set structure, KPIs and measurements
  • Strong customer management skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or technical degree (preferred);
  • A proven track record of growth
  • Good skills in PowerPoint and Excel, Hub-spot
